To address the challenges Florida faces today, the Alliance’s 2026 goals emphasize aligning economic growth with ecosystem protection, improving water quality and managing harmful algal blooms, preparing for intensifying hurricanes and storm surge, and responding proactively to rising seas and coastal flooding.

Florida Ocean Alliance’s Priorities support the ocean and coastal priorities of the Governor, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
