Florida is the Ocean State. Surrounded
by the sea, Florida’s economy and nationally famous life style are
dependent upon a healthy ocean.
The Florida Ocean Alliance invites you to learn more about Florida’s
oceans and coasts from experts at Florida’s colleges, universities,
research laboratories, state agencies, and ocean industries. The focus
will be on the conservation of our ocean and coastal environmental
resources.
On April 3, 2003, at the State Capitol, the Florida Ocean Alliance
will sponsor Ocean Education Day. There will be exciting exhibits,
including hands on activities, live animals, and interactive displays
on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Capitol Rotunda and in the Capitol
Courtyard. Bring your questions about the oceans and learn the answers
at the Capitol on April 3! |
